The body of Rev. Deacon Charles Kasangaki has been laid to rest at St John Mary vianny cemetery.
During the burial ceremony held at Virika in Fort Portal city, Rt. Rev. Dr. Robert Muhiirwa described deacon Kasangaki as a person who had patience and trust in the Lord even in the trying moments hence calling upon mourners to always love God.
He asked mourners to always go for cancer testing when it is still early to know their status and check on the food and drinks.
Rev. Fr. Richard Bomera the vocations director Fort Portal Catholic Diocese described deacon Kasangaki as a person who loved his call, had faith and hope.
Rev. Fr. John Tumuhairwe the chancellor Fort Portal diocese says that deacon Kasangaki was ordained deacon on 30th January 2021 and served as a deacon for only 7 month. He worked at Kamwenge parish.
He succumbed to the effects of cancer treatment of radio therapy and chemotherapy at Virika hospital at the age of 29.
