Police has arrested Uwimana Patience,25, the woman seen in a viral video torturing her child Ssebandeke Alfred,5, in Buwuuma zone Kyazanga TC Lwengo district central Uganda.
The suspect and the victim are to be medically examined on mental and physical health respectively.
Police says it has also secured a comforting organisation that will take care of the kid including his education up to the university. The father is disabled (PWD).
Police records indicate that the suspect was recently released from Kisoro Prison for attempted murder.
