Rt. Rev. Reuben Kisembo, Bishop of Ruwenzori Diocese, has yesterday January 11 2023, officially inaugurated a five-day Anglican Renewal Missionary Conference at St. John’s Cathedral in Fort Portal city .
During the opening ceremony, Bishop Kisembo encouraged Christians to actively participate in church fellowships, emphasizing their role in building spiritual strength collectively.
He urged them to regularly engage in reading the Bible and maintaining a consistent prayer life, highlighting the power of prayer in overcoming challenges.
Bishop Kisembo, further stressed the importance of effective time management and diligent efforts to enhance household income.
In addressing the youth, the Ruwenzori prelate cautioned against involvement in bad peer groups, urging them to focus on academic excellence in their educational pursuits.
The Emeritus Rt Rev. Bishop Nathan Gasatura, hailing from Rwanda, echoed the sentiment of prioritizing God in all aspects of life and giving Him due honor.
He stressed that placing faith in God is essential, underscoring that pleasing God is impossible without unwavering trust.
This year’s Anglican Renewal Missionaries Conference revolves around the theme “Seek the Lord and Live.”, encouraging attendees to actively pursue a life centered on spiritual growth and divine guidance.
