Ugandan movie lovers,can now afford a smile, after hearing the fact that Century Cinemax and Stanbic Bank Uganda are teaming up to bring them a special offer that will make their Fridays more exciting for the next six months.
The promotion, is called ‘FlexiPay Cinema Fridays,’ meaning they can now get a cool 20% discount on movie tickets every Friday. The movie lovers, are only required to ask for FlexiPay or Stanbic Visa prepaid cards when buying their tickets.

Effective any Friday, Customers can enjoy discounted movie tickets by using FlexiPay or Stanbic Visa cards at any Century Cinema in and around Kampala as long as they dial *291# or use the app.
Israel Arinaitwe, the Head of Personal Banking at Stanbic Bank Uganda, wants everyone to have a good time. He said, “For the next 6 months, we want to make sure that the cost of a movie ticket doesn’t stop lovers, families, friends, or anyone from having fun!”

Paul Osako, the Card Utilization Manager, explained that if you have a Visa debit, pre-paid, or credit card from Stanbic Bank, you can easily join in the fun. “Just come, swipe your card at the Point-of-Sale terminal, and enjoy a discounted ticket. Bring your family and friends for a relaxing movie time during this festive season,” he added.
Satish Guna, the General Manager of Century Cinemax Limited Uganda, shared why they’re doing this. “After a year of hard work, we want you to take a break. This promotion is our way of saying thank you to our customers for their support in 2023.”
