The staff of Holly Family Virika hospital through their heads of department has agreed to report back to work with immediate effect.
This was resolved during their meeting with the Right Rev. Dr. Robert Muhiirwa the bishop of Fort-portal catholic diocese who doubles as chairperson board of trustees of the health facility.
More than 60 aggrieved employees on Tuesday put down their tools walked from the hospital main gate and gathered at the Bishops residence before their issues were resolved in a closed door meeting attended by the diocesan Vicar General Mgsr Isaiah Mayombo, Rev. Jude Kasaija and the Bishop Robert Muhiirwa.
Speaking to reporters shortly after the meeting Dr. Kule a staff representative said that they have agreed to go back to work after the bishop promised to follow up their concerns.
In A statement to the media Msgr Isaiah Mayombo indicated that all staff has been instructed to report offices with immediate effect as their issues are being investigated.
