The Civil Society Budget Advocacy Group (CSBAG) has challenged the office of the prime minister to come up with a comprehensive report on accountability for COVID-19 funds.
This comes in the wake of concerns from various leaders over the government’s failure to deliver certain items like PPEs to frontline health workers.
The group’s Executive Director Julius Mukunda says a lot of funds were donated to the government by individuals and corporate companies but no accountability has been given to Ugandans yet.
