It was an interesting moment as Kyaka Isaza Team and Bunyangabu Isaza Team played out an entertaining 3-3 draw yesterday in a fixture of the Tooro Kingdom MTN Amasaza Cup, Fifth Edition, held at Humura Church of Uganda playgrounds in Kyegegwa District.
Kyaka Isaza got on the scoresheet through Mugume Abibu, Tumusiime Fred and Kakooza Denis, while Bunyangabu Isaza replied with goals from Bbumba Fazil and a brace from Lukwago Salami, as the two sides shared the points in a keenly contested encounter.
In the netball fixture played alongside the football match, Kyaka County fell 32-38 to Mwenge South.
Winners walk away with prizes
Speaking at the event, MTN Brand Ambassador , Prime Longino who handed over a cash prize of 200,000 shillings to the Man of the Match and other rewards to the winner, reaffirmed MTN’s continued commitment to nurturing talent within the Tooro Kingdom, but also as part of the company’s broader community support initiatives.

Earlier in the day, the Member of Parliament for Bunyangabu, Hon. Dr. Victor Kalenzi, applauded MTN and other partners for their support towards the tournament, with a call on players to maintain discipline both on and off the pitch.
Next games
With the draw, Bunyangabu now turns attention to their next assignment against Mwenge South on 26th July at Busiita playground, in what will be the final Group A fixture. The winner of that tie will progress to the semi-finals.
The group’s fixtures continue on 7th August at Maddox, when Mwenge South will host Kyaka
