The Bishop of Ruwenzori Diocese, the Rt. Rev. Reuben Kisembo Amooti, has urged parents to support their children’s education, not because they have a lot of wealth, but for the good future of their children.
Bishop Kisembo made the call yesterday while preaching during the burial of the late Peter Monday Ndoleriire Akiiki, who was the father to Rev. David Tumwesige, the Rwenzori Diocese Secretary.
The burial was held in their home Ruboona Archideconary, kisomorro sub county Bunyangabu district.
According to the Bishop, the late Ndoleriire invested heavily in the education of his children for a better future. He noted that educating a child is not about being rich, but about a parent’s willingness and understanding.
