As candidates nationally settle in for the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) Senior Four examinations next week, the Fort Portal Diocesan Inspector of Schools,Rev. Fr. Andrea Isingoma, has urged candidates, teachers, parents and administrators to play their part in ensuring success.
Speaking to Jubilee Radio this evening, Fr. Isingoma advised candidates to be confident, read each question carefully, understand what it requires, and trust in the Lord. He told them not to panic, saying they have always sat exams and many have passed, so there is no reason they should not pass these ones.
To teachers, Fr Isingoma said they have done what they should have done and must continue encouraging candidates to stay calm and focused.
He further asked Parents to provide a peaceful environment, feed candidates well and ensure they lack nothing during the examination period.
He also warned that no candidate should think of copying, as it diverts their concentration, and no teacher should dare to engage in or risk helping candidates cheat.
To school administrators, he said no one should interfere with candidates’ concentration, and candidates must have ample time and peace on the school compound.
Fr. Isingoma wished all candidates success as they prepare for another level in life.
