The Kahunge Catholic Parish Priest in Fort Portal Diocese, Rev. Fr. Benedicto Kakwezi Araali, has joined other religious leaders in praying for candidates ahead of the 2026 academic year examinations.
Fr. Kakwezi made the prayer today at his office at Kahunge Catholic Parish headquarters, dedicating Primary Seven, Senior Four and Senior Six candidates across the country into God’s hands.
He said God is the master of everything in life, expressing hope that the candidates will succeed in their examinations through God’s guidance.
Shortly after the prayer, Fr. Kakwezi urged candidates to remain focused on their studies and avoid panic as they prepare for their examinations.
He said candidates need to remain calm and confident if they are to perform well.
The man of God also called upon candidates to continue respecting their parents and guardians, even after completing their examinations and returning home for the holidays.
