Police in Kyegegwa District are investigating the murder of three people at Karokalungi village, Nkanja Sub-county.
The victims are 28-year-old Kansiime Christine, her one-year-and-three-month-old daughter Miracle, and Joan A, a 19-year-old domestic worker at the home, whose bodies were discovered on Thursday around one in the afternoon by a neighbour, who alerted other residents and the Police.
News confirmed by the Rwenzori West Police Spokes Person spikes person Vincent Twesige, indicates that Officers from Kyaka Second Police Station, backed by Kyegegwa Central Police, found the scene well preserved. A sniffer dog named Bruno picked up a scent and led officers to Bwiliza Ndolobwile Village, where clothing belonging to one of the deceased was recovered at a home.
Two suspects have since been arrested and Police continue with investigations. Police have commended the public for preserving the crime scene.
